Review of Colourpop x Malibu Barbie Palette

 Hey guys!

Woo! It's been a minute. Teaching during a pandemic really takes up all your free time and I've neglected my time here. But, it's summer and its time to get back to reviewing, writing, and sharing. Thanks so much for reading the post, and today we are talking about the new Barbie Malibu eyeshadow palette that released with the very popular fast-makeup brand Colourpop. Are you interested in this palette and wondering about the quality? Then just keep on reading!

1. Packaging and Presentation

This palette is absolutely beautiful. Let's just admit that now. The packaging is pink with pops of blue, yellow, and orange. It definitely represents that true Malibu feel. The artwork on the palette is amazing as usual when it comes to Colourpop. If you are a Barbie fan, I think you will be satisfied with the overall design of the palette. The palette itself is cardboard packaging, which in my opinion, is the best type of packaging from Colourpop, and I prefer it over their plastic packaging. Inside there are fifteen shades with colors ranging from peach, pink, blue, several neutrals, and a pop of yellow.

2. Formula and Color story

The palette formula is the usual good formula from Colourpop. The colorful shades are pigmented and easy to blend. The shimmers are shiny. There is a bit of kick-up and some of the matte shades can be a bit powedery but it's nothing terrible. Overall, the formula of this palette is great. Additionally, the color story is actually one that is a bit more creative coming from the brand, (in my humble opinion), but of course it depends on the colors you like best.

3. Overall verdict ?????

I really like this palette. The looks you can come up with this 15 pan palette can be varied and you can get very creative with the colors in this palette. The formula is good and the packaging is stellar. If you are a Barbie fan, I think you'd love this palette, and if you aren't a Barbie fan, I think you would still enjoy this palette.

Teaching During A World-Wide Pandemic

Hello! So today I just wanted to come on here and write about how teaching is going so far, as I've been back to work for a few weeks now and teaching digitally, as well as in-person. Firstly, let me give some background. At my particular school and in my particular county we were expected to be all digital this year, but that quickly changed when it was announced that students could have the option to come back into the school. Of course, this arose to many different feels, opinions, fears, and worries from teachers and parents alike. In the end, at my school, our students have the option to learn digitally or to come in-person and we have about a 50/50 split as of right now.  My position is also uniquely different at the elementary level since I teach Spanish and it's a connection class. So, I teach every student in the school. I a group of classes grades K-5 for 45 minutes for a week, and them they rotate and I see the next group. As you can imagine, that's even scarier

My Favorite Horror Franchise

Hey, Hey! So today we are heading back to horror themes for my post today. I'm going to be talking about and ranking my favorite horror franchise ever. I absolutely love.... the Nightmare on Elm street/Freddy horror franchise! Overall, I enjoy watching Nightmare on Elm street and the sequels because I really enjoy Freddy Kreuger. Freddy is my favorite villain because he's scary as hell, but he also delivers with the dark humor and Robert Englund has done an awesome job portraying him for so many years. He has become such an iconic villain and I really think the nightmare franchise is such a unique and smart concept. A serial killer who kills teens in their dreams, It's brilliant and Wes Craven created a masterpiece. Well, not that we have that out of the way. Now I'm going to rank the films in order. Now obviously every film in a franchise is not going to be great. Some will obviously be better films than others. That holds true for this franchise as well. Altho
