Black Lives Matter!

Hey all!

I just wanted to come on here and talk about a very important issue. The past few weeks has seen many people fighting against police brutality and in support of making sure all black lives matter and to see justice being served in the United States. Racism and hatred is never correct and is in itself evil. As a black woman in the United States, I will support the black lives matter movement and I will support all movements for equality for black people!

You can also help and support!

You can support by donating, signing petitions, or just by educating yourself on matters that are important for black people. We should all learn to love each other and be united. Don't let the enemy plant seeds of hatred in your hearts for any person whether they be black, white, hispanic, asian, etc. Be open to hearing others stories and listen to their feelings. No ones feelings are invalid. Taking the time to just stop and listen is also a way to show support and hopefully as a people we can make changes so all people no matter their skin tone feel safe in this country. Let's work together to promote change and stop police brutality. All people should feel safe in this country. If you don't agree with this then you are welcome to click off this site and read something else that will pander to your ideas. Thanks so much to everyone standing up against injustice and for those who are actually listening and trying. Love ya!

Ways to help:

https://petitions.whitehouse.gov/petition/justice-george-floyd-0 - Petition for George Floyd
https://minnesotafreedomfund.org/ - Minnesota Freedom Fund. (To be transparent I"m noting which places I personally donated. I did donate to this fund. Donate what you can but if you can't you can help in other ways :). If you don't have money to donate, again you can sign petitions, share information to others, or protest and stand with others.)
https://www.northstarhealthcollective.org/donate(Another website to donate. I did donate to this collective. Not a huge amount but every bit helps :))
https://blacklivesmatter.com/ - Learn more about the black lives matter movement. (Black lives matter doesn't mean every one else doesn't matter. It is a movement for freedom, justice, and liberation)

Thanks all! Hopefully this helps. You can also look up helpful videos on Youtube.

My Favorite Horror Franchise

Hey, Hey! So today we are heading back to horror themes for my post today. I'm going to be talking about and ranking my favorite horror franchise ever. I absolutely love.... the Nightmare on Elm street/Freddy horror franchise! Overall, I enjoy watching Nightmare on Elm street and the sequels because I really enjoy Freddy Kreuger. Freddy is my favorite villain because he's scary as hell, but he also delivers with the dark humor and Robert Englund has done an awesome job portraying him for so many years. He has become such an iconic villain and I really think the nightmare franchise is such a unique and smart concept. A serial killer who kills teens in their dreams, It's brilliant and Wes Craven created a masterpiece. Well, not that we have that out of the way. Now I'm going to rank the films in order. Now obviously every film in a franchise is not going to be great. Some will obviously be better films than others. That holds true for this franchise as well. Altho

Book! - Let's talk about books and reading 2021

Hey everyone! It's been awhile since my last blog post.... But here I am again!  So today I'm going to be listing off some good and not so good books I've been reading so far into 2021. If you're interested, just keep on reading  Some books I've read so far this year worth missing: Every Heart a Doorway by Seanan McGuire    *** - 3 stars out of 5 The most recent book I have finished, this book explores what happens to those students who find doorways to other worlds, and what really happens when they come back to the "real" world. A very interesting concept, I enjoyed most of the characters and the writing, but felt the story to be a bit incomplete, but still think it's worth checking out, which is why it gets a 3 out of 5 rating.  The Maze Runner series - The Maze Runner, The Scorch Trails, and The Death Cure by James Dashner **** 4 stars out of 5 I'm glad I read this series this year. I finished all three books in February and I really enjoyed t
